I can certainly understand the frustration of Michigan union workers dealing with the reality of a weakened bargaining position with the governor signing the right-to-work bill.  However, protests should always be peaceful.

It is difficult to get national sympathy when protestors are tearing down tents of pro right-to-work law activists and punching reporters in the face.  Violence is not the answer, and is the furthest thing from the dignity and respect that the union supporters allegedly were seeking by their protests.  Let's pray cooler heads prevail and the union supporters take the fight where they need to take it, which is to their elected officials.
